Happy belated new year....

Hey all, Happy happy new year, I know it's late but this year has just been so crazy, and it's only the 12th...

New years weekend was a long one for me and I spent it in NYC as well as the Poconos in Philadelphia...on the Friday I went to new York city and met my boyfriend Girish for lunch, then I stayed at a hostel in NYC. At the hostel I met 2 cool people and went out to an Irish pub with them in downtown Manhattan, it was so much fun.

Then on Saturday I went with Girish skiing at bareback mountain resort at the Poconos  Oh my gosh it was the most amazing experience ever! The first slope we went on was the expert one, but we didn't know, so we're going up the biggest slope they have and there's only one way down. Oh my gosh it was so much fun, we both fell like a million times but it was such an experience. Then we went on the smaller slopes and by the end of the day I was an expert, Girish, ahhhhh not so much :p

Then back to NYC...That night I went to my friend Tracey's house to sleep over, it was so nice seeing her again, I really missed her, and we just went to mc Donald's and chilled.

The next day was new years eve, or old years day. Me, Svenja, Girish, and Svenja's two friends and two sisters ended up on 57th and broadway and in perfect view of the ball drop in times square. it was awesome we got there at 11, waited an hour and saw the ball drop. it was great. my new years resolution is to save money. :) what is yours?

Merry belated Christmas :)

Hey guys so I am back to using this blog, if you missed some posts they will be at my old blog (www.kissingtherain.com) but from now on all my new posts will be on this site. 

So I haven't posted in a while, thus, I will start a series of updates starting from Christmas.

My first Christmas in America was amazing. Christmas eve my best friend came over and she cooked a traditional German dinner for us. Then we went to church, and then after church we went with some friends to another friends house and just hung out and watched a movie. It was really cool. Then Christmas morning I had to wake up early to take my bestie to the bus stop, and I also gave my host parents their gift. After I woke up properly, around 10, my now boyfriend picked me up and took me to Starbucks  I hadn't seen him in 3 weeks because he was touring Europe, so it was the best present ever to see him after a while on Christmas. We hung out at Starbucks  had some Christmas in a cup drinks, and then went to Michelle and James' house (friends from church). We had lupper (lunch/supper) with them and stayed there pretty much the whole evening. After we left we drove around neighborhoods looking at all the Christmas lights people had put up. It was amazing! 

I really had the best Christmas ever, couldn't have been better.
